Mr. Payne passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
He is survived by his son, Keith Payne (Misti) of Sylacauga, four grandchildren, Chris Payne (Sara), Jerry Payne (Kim Royal), Dakota Pelfrey (Laura) and Morgan Whetstone, nine great-grandchildren, his sister, Faye Waldrep (Waylon) of Peoria, AZ, his brother, Steve Payne of Gulfshores, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Alma P. Payne, and three sisters, Helen Marie, Judy Ann and Dorothy Mae.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
