Jimmy Teal

Funeral will be at 3:00pm Sunday at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Jimmy Ronald Teal, 76, of Attalla who died April 19, 2017. Rev. Jimmy Humphrey and Re. Jason Hallmark will officiate the service. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory will be directing the service.

Mr. Teal was retired from the City of Attalla with 42 years service.

Pop enjoyed fishing or working in his yard. Most of the time you could find him resting in his swing on his back porch with his beloved dog Corky.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Peggy Sue Teal and his parents J.T. Teal , Clara Teal and grandmother, Love Mims

He is survived by his son, Jeff (Sonya) Teal; daughter, Jackie (Shannon) Wagnon.; grandson, Jordan (Anna) Teal; granddaughters, Holly (James) Ramsey, Taylor Wagnon, Cecilia (Alex) Pike; great grandson, Donie “Little Man” Wagnon and sister, Clara (Phillip) Robinson.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Teal, James Ramsey, Kevin Nance, Alan Bunch, David Bunch, Mike Howington, Shane Howington and Lee Campbell.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Wilkson, Burl Nance, Clyde Nance, Larry Nance, Jerry Mims, Arthur Mims, Gerald Duke, Charles Strickland.

Special thanks to Angels of Healing Sitting Service, Dr. Debora Reiland, staff of Gadsden Regional Medical Center and Amedisys Hospice.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm Sunday at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
