Funeral services for Lynn will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla, AL. The family will receive visitors in the Chapel from 12:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm. Bro. Alvin Turner and Bro. Lee Gilliland to officiate.  Interment will follow at Mount Lebanon Church Cemetery in Steele, AL.

Lynn was born on September 11, 1953 in Gadsden, Alabama, to John Melvin Robinson, Jr, and Shelby Jean Moore Robinson. He was a proud graduate of Auburn University’s pharmacy school. Lynn carried his love of Auburn football and his knowledge of pharmacology throughout his life. He loved bragging about his kids and grandkids, talking Auburn football, and telling jokes. Lynn always had a smile and a conversation for anyone he met. He was an amazing man and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Melvin Robinson, Jr and Shelby Jean Moore Robinson.

Lynn is survived by his wife, Kathy Dockery Robinson; daughters, Leslie Robinson Sawyer, and Julie Kaye Robinson; grandchildren, Anna Grace Sawyer, William Joseph Sawyer, Andrew Benjamin Sawyer, and Emma Catherine Tillman; brother, Jimmy (Ginger) Robinson; nephew, Justin (Josie) Robinson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Robinson, William Sawyer, Andrew Sawyer, and Justin Robinson

In remembrance of his love of Auburn football, please feel free to wear orange and blue to the service.
