

Will was born November 8th 1957 to his mother, Irene Prickett Skelton and his father Johnny Skelton of Attalla. He was a graduate of Etowah High School class of 1976.
After a decade of service at Good Year Tire and Rubber he entered the auto, collision repair field; ending his career at Renn’s Body Shop Crossville, Al.
Will enjoyed the last few years of his life attending many of his grandchildren’s sporting events. He also enjoyed fishkeeping, horticulture and watching his hummingbirds outside. He was known for his laid-back personality and the pride and love he had for his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Skelton. Will is survived by his mother Irene Skelton. He is the proud father to Mike (Stephanie) Skelton and Chris (Cory) Skelton. He is known as Pop Pop to Garrett, Sydney, Stone and Cash Skelton and Justin Irvine. Great grandchildren include: Ruby Jo and Anna Ruth Irvine.
He is also survived by his five siblings: Johnna Skelton Thayer, Patricia (Scott) Trigg, Rebecca (Jimmy) Osborn, Jeff Skelton and Judd (Hena) Skelton and a host of nieces and nephews. Special friends include: Renn Perry, Tammy Sheffield Walz and Kris Powell.
Visitation is scheduled for 11-1 Thursday, April 7th at Black Creek Baptist Church (244 Black Creek Road Collinsville, Al 35961) Graveside Service will immediately follow at the adjoining cemetery.
