Ken joined his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his precious wife of 58 years Patti in Heaven on January 14, 2022. Also waiting for him there were his parents William and Dorothy and his brother Bill.
He is survived by his sons Danny (Debby), Ken (Deanna), Bob (Michelle); 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and countless nieces and nephews, and friends.
Ken was an army veteran, church deacon, and he loved baseball (his hometown Chicago White Sox). He was so passionate about the Lord and baseball that several years he served as the chaplain for the Fort Myers Miracle Baseball Team. Ken was a shining example of what a loving father and grandfather should be and he taught us the meaning of a life well lived. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
There will be a graveside service for Ken on Monday, January 17th, 2022 at 1p.m. at Rainbow Memorial Gardens in their Mausoleum building at the back of the cemetery.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers please donate to Ken’s favorite charity, Big Oak Ranch boys/girls homes. Donations can be mailed to 250 Jake Mintz Rd. Gadsden, Al 35905. Or online at Bigoak.org
