Kimberly Lynn (Steapleton) Mizell

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 6 until 8pm at Morgan Funeral Chapel and Thursday prior to the service from 1 until 2pm. Burial will be at Shiloh Cemetery.

Kim, a devoted wife, loving mother and mimi, caring friend, and faithful Christian servant went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 4, 2023. She was a lifelong resident of Attalla, AL. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and having the title “Mimi”. She enjoyed watching Alabama football with her family and tending to her flowers. Every morning before work you could find her outside watering them.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sammy Steapleton; son, Taylor Mizell; and stepfather, Sammy Battles.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Clint Mizell; daughter, Amber (Joey) Aliota; son, Trey Mizell; grandsons, Thomas Mills, Leo Aliota; granddaughter, Frankie Aliota; mother, Nell Jo Battles; sister, Sandy Battles; nieces, Sandra Williams, Derian Carden and nephew, Samuel Sampson.

Pallbearers will be Trey Mizell, Joey Aliota, Rick Reneman, Samuel Sampson, Robin Wood, and Cody Howard.
