Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday May 2, 2026 at Mt. Lebanon Church. The service will follow at 2:00 pm at the church.
Burial will take place at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
Surviving family members are brothers Rayburn Smith, Johnny Smith, and Ricky Smith.
She is preceded in death by Hoyt Joseph Smith, Gladys Estelle Smith, and Joe Wilburn Smith.
Gail graduated from Ashville High School in 1965. After moving to Atlanta, Georgia in 1974, she worked at Georgia Baptist Hospital and Tenet Health for over 30 years as a medical billing specialist.
Gail loved gardening and flowers, had a passion for cooking, and loved to fish.
Gail was a warm, gentle, respectful person. She had a sense of humor and cared for people and loved her family.
Special recognition to Jacqueline Giddens, Marth Jane Troncalli, Stephanie Troncalli, and Carol Harrison. Gail was our adopted sister and was very much loved.
