Funeral Services will be Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017 at noon at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Mac Mintz, of Rainbow City, who passed away on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017. Revs. Mitchell Gibbs and Doug Baker will officiate. Interment will be at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory directing.
Mac was preceded in death by his father, Lathan Mintz; mother, Thelma Mintz; daughter, Alisa Mintz Driskill; brother, Bill Mintz; and sister, Mary Overby.
He is survived by his son, Art Mintz; daughter, Rhonda Satterfield; grandsons, Stetson and Daulton Satterfield, Jace Driskill, and Lucas Mintz; granddaughter, Nikki Mintz; and son-in-law, Jim Driskill.
He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a member of Millers Hollow Community Church and has been retired from Alabama Power Co. Since 1996.
The family would like to express a special thanks to all the staff at Alacare Home Health and Hospice.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
