

Funeral Services for Marcia Ann Crowe who passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021 will be at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Marcia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was born in Birmingham on March 29, 1940 to Freeman and Pauline Bartlett Bell. She spent most of her youth in Dekalb County in the Mentone area; where she met her beloved husband, Kenneth, and graduated as Salutatorian from Valley Head High School. She made her home in Southside where she and Kenneth raised their three children.
She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and enjoyed being in her Sunday School class. She spent many years as a Registered Nurse at the Baptist Hospital. She and Kenneth enjoyed crafting and gardening. She was honored to have had the opportunity to meet and shake the hand of President Bill Clinton while on a trip to Washington D.C. with some of the Tuskegee Syphilis Study victims.
Marcia was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Thelma Bell Gray and brothers: Rudolph Bell and Hugh Don Bell.
Survivors include her children: Lyndon (Ann) Crowe of Houston, TX, Allyson (Michael) Braswell of Montgomery, AL and Pete (Jackie) Crowe of Rainbow City, AL; grandchildren: Xavier (Rachel) Crowe of Nashville, TN, Kristen Crowe of Rainbow City, AL, Zachary Braswell and Carissa Braswell, both of Montgomery, AL.
