Funeral Services for Mrs. Marie Brothers Hyatt, age 85 of Gallant, will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Bro. Ricky Harcrow officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Hyatt passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Gadsden Health & Rehab. Born in Gallant on April 15th, 1938, she was a lifelong resident of the Gallant and Chandler Mountain communities. She was a loving and caring wife and mother for many years. Mrs. Hyatt was a lover of Gospel and Sacred Harp music.

She is survived by her sons, Melvin Hyatt and Kelvin Hyatt (Kim), and her grandson, Spencer Hyatt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Myrtle Brothers, her husband, Arville Hyatt, her brothers, Clois Brothers and J.C. Brothers, and her grandson, Parker Hyatt.

Active Pallbearers will be Melvin Hyatt, Kelvin Hyatt, Spencer Hyatt, Terry Hullett, Shane Brothers, Doyle Alexander and Todd Brothers.

Mark Willingham and Adron Willingham will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Morgan Funeral Chapel from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 3:00 P.M.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Gadsden Health & Rehab, Dr. Deborah Reiland, Adron, Joyce and Mark Willingham for their loving care of Mrs. Hyatt.
