Marilyn was a graduate of Auburn University. She had retired from Social Security Administration and had a former association with the Daughters of The American Revolution and Pilot Club. She was currently employed with the Alabama Career Center in Albertville.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Ricky Garrison; son Charles (Bryttani) Garrison; grandson, Clayton Garrison; brother, Jeff (Beth) Sparkman; and many aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family requests no flowers, but would rather memorials be made to Breakaway Ministries for the Dream House Mission.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Morgan Funeral Chapel. There will be no formal service at this time.
