Michael Eugene Harris

A graveside service for Michael will be held Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 6880 Duck Springs Rd, Attalla, AL 35954. Bro. Richard Bradfield to officiate.

Michael was born in Gadsden, AL. He went to work at an early age helping his Dad in the logging business. Later,he worked with all of his brothers at a machine shop in Attalla, and then finished his working years as a truck driver until his retirement. Michael found joy around family. He was happiest when surrounded by his grandchildren, McKynlee Harris, Zoey Williams and Lawson Phillips. Michael will be greatly missed by everyone.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Hopper Harris; father, Dennis Harris; and sister, Sharron Harris.

Michael is survived by his children, Nikki (Matt) Phillips, and Kim Harris; sisters, Debbie Battles and Kristy Harris; brothers, Randall "Pee Wee" (Regena) Harris, David Harris and Scott Harris.

Pallbearers will be Jonathon Battles, Ryan Battles, Dalton Thacker, and JC Garmany.
