

Survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia (Pedie); daughter Nicole and son Scot Radowski, daughter-in-law, Katie and five grandchildren; His brother James, sister-in-law, Lindsey, nephew, Mathew and niece Rebecca; Many other family and friends who loved him.
Michael was raised in Wakefield, Michigan, attended Wakefield HS graduating in the class of ’61. He developed and shared a love of engineering, automobiles and photography. His expertise in photography is well known. Like his father, he enjoyed building things with his hands and spent considerable time perfecting his wood-working skills.
His military career was filled with many adventures starting with graduation from James Connelly AFB, Waco, TX commissioned as a 2nd Lt. Navigator. Hill AFB flying the C-124. He spent 24 months in Vietnam, the last 12 months on the AC-47 “Puff the Magic Dragon”. At England AFB, La, he flew the EC and C-47 with the 317th and 548th TAC. At Lockbourne AFB, Oh, he flew the C-123 and then back to England AFB with the 4410th Combat Training Group. At Bergstrom AFB, TX and Yokota AB, Japan he flew the C-130 for MAC and then ended his career at 12th Air Force, Bergstrom AFB in Austin, Texas.
In his military career he received several medals which included; the Silver Star with 2 oak leafs; Air Medal with 2 silver and 2 bronze oak leafs; Air Force Commendation; Combat Readiness; National Defense Service; Armed Forces Expeditionary; RVN Gallantry Cross with palms; Vietnam Service; Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal among others.
Graduating with degrees in Engineering, Computer Science and Social Studies, he had post-military careers at Apple Computer, IXC, Radowski’s Race Car Engineering and Director of Operations at Diego Garcia.
The impact of his service and contributions to the communities within which he lived will be missed.
