Mickey was born and raised in Attalla, spent 27 years in Tampa, Florida being a vinyl siding installer and cattle trader. He was also a lifelong Alabama football fan.
He was preceded in death by his wife Gaynelle Lemons, daughter Vickey Mercer, parents RC Lemons and Nellie Jones, siblings Thomas Jerry Lemons, Bobby Joel Lemons, Roddy Lemons, Ricky Lemons, Tommie Lemons, Barbara Humphrey, and Gina Louise Jones.
He is survived by his son Mickey Jerrod Lemons, siblings Pandora Battles, Diane Moore, Cecilia Laney, Tina Lutes, Phillip Jones, and Tommy Dallord; 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchild, and host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.

A graveside service will be held at Shiloh Cemetery in Attalla, on February 1st at 2:30 p.m.
