She was born on October 2, 1937 to Naomi and Anthony Perkins.
She is survived by her daughters,Debbie (Steve) Simmons and Sharon Oliver. Grandchildren are Scott (Cindy) Simmons, Benjamin (Brittany) Simmons, Chad (Kelly) Oliver, and Crystal (Brett) Lavender. She leaves behind six dearly-loved great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, RC Garrett; son, Jeffery
Garrett; son- in- law, Larry Oliver; and great grandson, Augustus Oliver.
She was an avid flower gardener, expert seamstress, and a precious and much-loved mother who will be so very greatly missed.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 9, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home. Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.
Burial will be on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 2:00 at Rainbow Memorial Gardens
