O'Neal Brock

O'Neal Brock, age 26, of Steele, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. O'Neal was born February 5, 1995. Funeral services will be Sunday at 11 am , September 19, 2021 at Morgan Funeral Chapel, Brandon Alexander will be officiating. Burial will be in Steele Cemetery.

O'Neal was a lifelong resident of Ashville, a 2013 graduate of Ashville High School, current GSCC HVAC student and millwright at Acipco. To know him was to love him. He was the best husband, daddy, uncle, brother and son ever. His work ethic was tireless. He was a wonderful provider. Morgan and Harper never wanted for anything. He loved fishing, Alabama football and being around family and friends. You would never find with him a bigger smile than on a fall afternoon with Morgan, Harper and his family and friends watching an Alabama football game. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Eileen Whatley and Ernest Gordon; uncle, Ronnie Hudgins; niece, Adalyn Martin; grandparents, Wayne Fant and Winfred and Grace Murphree; grandfather, Guy Beard.

O'Neal is survived by his wife, Morgan Murphree Brock; daughter, Harper Reece Brock; parents, David and Christie Brock; father in law, Marty Murphree; grandparents, Nancy Stephens, Mary and Lee Gilliland and Julia Fant; great grandmother, Floye Louise Gordon; siblings, Britany (George) Gargone, Nichole (Broderick) Martin, Cody Brock, Michelle Brock, Dakota (Tuesday) Brock, Jessica (James) Martinand several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dakota Brock, Josh Daniels, Ethan Fuller, George Gargone, James Martin, Dillon Robinson, Caleb Tipton, Maitland Waylen.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bryan Beard, Carson Canant, Cody Chamness, Chandler McGinnis and Mark Tipton.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to an account in Morgan's and Harper's name at People's Independent Bank in Steele.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 9 am-11 am.
