

Patricia Ann Gartman, 74 of Gadsden went home to be with our Lord Jesus January 24, 2022. Memorial Service will be at 6p.m. Friday, January 28, 2022 at The Church of Love (416 Randolph St SE Attalla, AL 35954) with Sister Teresa Chapman officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 4p.m. until 6p.m. Burial will be at Forrest Cemetery.
Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. If you were lucky enough to be known by her you were loved greatly and prayed for daily. She worked for Oral Surgery Associates for over thirty years. She was courageous and strong and will be greatly missed by all.
2 Timothy 4:7.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Margaret and Lloyd Smothers; sisters, Linda Hopkins, Shirley Smother and brother, Lamar Smothers; grandson, Brody Gartman and great grandson, Ezra Mangum.
Pat is survived by David Gartman; children, Tancie West, Tiphanie Chitwood and Chase Gartman and their spouses Kevin West, Mark Chitwood, and Christine Gartman; grandchildren, Zac West, Alex West, Elise Mangum, Santanah Ward, Trent Gartman, Maci Marli, Maddi Chitwood; great grandchildren, Bo and Colt West, Asa and Harper Mangum, Zada Mae, Renleigh Ward; brother, David (Tammy) Smothers; many nieces and nephews and her special friend, Mariland Teague.
Potted green plants will be accepted at the Church of Love or donations may be made to St. Jude’s, The Children’s Hospital, or The Ronald McDonald House.
