Peggy Jane Rogers

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Elbert Hyatt and Clara Mae Hyatt; her brothers, Jimmy “Dirk” Hyatt and Jerry Hyatt; and her beloved son, Jonathan “Tiger” Sitz. Peggy is now reunited with them in Heaven.

She leaves behind her sister, Linda “Bug” Key; her daughters, Kim (Jimbo) Pitt and Tina Swann; her brothers, Johnny (Mary Ann) Hyatt and Phillip Hyatt; and many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Peggy was blessed with five grandchildren: Andy Pitt, Cory (Alex) Swann, Myranda (Matt) Harrison, Skylar Swann, and Mayer Swann. She also leaves behind five great-grandchildren: Karsyn Pitt, Aspen Franklin, Amelia Franklin, Alison Mae Swann, and AJ Swann.

Peggy loved her family deeply and treasured the time she spent with them. Her kindness, strength, and loving heart will be remembered by all who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel.

She will be missed.
