Rebecca Faye Elrod

Rebecca Faye Elrod, age 75, of Altoona, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022. Graveside service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Owens officiating. Mrs. Elrod was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved gardening and working with her flowers. She worked at West End Grocery for fifteen years. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church but also attended the 2nd Baptist of Walnut Grove. Preceded in death by: Her parents; husband of 56 years, Charles Elrod; son, Terry Elrod and grandson, Steven Elrod. She is survived by her sons, Michael Elrod, Jerry (Lisa) Elrod, David Elrod; daughter, Elizabeth (Greg) Phillips; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and special nephew, Randy Elrod. Pallbearers will be Kenny Wilemon, Justin Bailey, Jerome Bailey, Matt Hopper, Barry Green, and Jimmy Beasley. Special thanks to Comfort Care Hospice. Special thanks to Rachel and Bree.
