Rhonda Jean Ellis, 72 of Rainbow City passed away March 12, 2022. Funeral Service will be at 1p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Morgan Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11a.m. until 1p.m. Burial will be at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.
Rhonda was retired from Darden Rehab Center in Gadsden after over 20 years of service. In retirement she enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports, doll collecting, and square dancing, as well as working part time at the Gadsden Career Center.
She was preceded in death by her father, James F. Ellis; and mother, Verta Lou Ellis.
Rhonda is survived by her daughter, Wendy (Joe) Byrd; son, Lance (Andrew) Allred; grandson, DJ Byrd; granddaughter, Kacie Byrd; brother, Jimmy (Margaret) Ellis, as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.
