Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2024, form 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Visitation will continue Sunday, January 12, 2024, from 11am until the time of service at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Williams Southside Funeral Home and Memorial Park.

“Ricky made you fully smile and filled you with joy. Anyone who met him knew they were in his space. He was funny, He saw the room as his playground, and he simply played. Your eyes brightened and the corners of your mouth unexpectedly curved. He was warm, Ricky and Jessica created a loving soul evident in how he so freely embraced everyone. Genuine and gentle with all the babies in his life. Open and affectionate with his family and friends. He was confident in who he was, what he wore, and how he presented himself to the world.

I pray for the day when sadness becomes acceptance. When the pain is seated by the many happy, funny, loving moments shared. When we recognize the blessing of how rare it is to feel privileged by just having known someone. Richard was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dietrich Williams; Uncle Carl and Aunt Keisha Waldron; his great-grandparents, Nana and Pa Battles; Grandma and Poppy Waldron; Grandpa Stacy.

Ricky is survived by his parents Ricky and Jessica Waldron, his godparents, Uncle Scott and Aunt Michele Cameron; his sister, Britni and Andrew Hoyt (Korben, Aubreigh, Millie and Kai); his brother, JT and Cailyn Simpson (Jameson & Parker); his sister, Destiny and Ray Lemley (Corbin, JC, Emma and Mia); his fiance, Crismary and dog kid, Grace; Jordyn and Max Jackson (Colson and Ryker); Devyn and Jake Davenport ( Rhett and Hendrix); Jayce and Cayd Waldron; Morgan and Dylan Vaughn (Zayne, Oakley, Tater, Jace, Briar & Lillie); Cody and Bri Jones (Brody); Austin Jones (Ellie and Wade); his extended brothers, Kelsey and Momma Casi; Jaydyn and Momma Natasha; Griffin and Momma Amy; Christian; Jon; Mason and Coy; his grandparents, Pop and Meemaw, Uncle DJ (a.k.a. Cousin-T DJ), Aunt Jen and Uncle Justin Jones; his grandparents, Mark (Gail) Williams; Uncle Tony Williams; and a host of cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and friends.

Pallbearers will be JT Simpson, Jaydyn Jackson, Kelsey Smith, Griffin Deck, Christian Williams, Jon Cannon and Coy Meadows.

Honorary Pallbearers will be “Punkin”, “Midol”, Codey O’Bryant, Chris O’Bryant, Logan Montgomery, Landon Montgomery, and Garrett Montgomery.
