

Roger graduated from Southside High School in 1964. In 1965, he was drafted into the United States Army and proudly served his country in Vietnam. After returning home, he dedicated 32 years of service to Goodyear before retiring. Roger was a hardworking man who deeply loved his family. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking, and working on cars and trucks.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Ozelle Robinson; brothers, Terry Fowler, Doug Robinson, and David Robinson; grandson, Brandon Trentham; nephew, Wesley Palmer; and niece, Dee Dee Holman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Frances Fowler; sons, Brian (Lawanda) Trentham, Dale (Jennifer) Fowler, and Donny (Sherri) Fowler; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Janice (Bob) Schaeffer and Cathy (Randall) Palmer; sister-in-law, Carol Fowler; and brothers, Doyce (Patricia) Fowler and Danny (Beverly) Fowler, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will cherish his memory.
Funeral services will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Brother Matt Griffith officiating. Visitation will take place on March 14, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. and burial will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens with military honors.
Pallbearers will be Butch Denney, Brian Schaeffer, Jason Bruce, Jarrett Fowler, Jacob Fowler, and Samuel Fowler. Honorary pallbearers will be Jayden Denney, Luke Trentham, and Crosby Fowler.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Gentiva Hospice for the compassionate care shown during Roger’s final days.
Roger will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the kindness he showed to those around him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who know and love him.
