Russell Aubrey Harris

Funeral Services for Russell Aubrey Harris, age 81 who passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022 will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Jeremiah Quarles officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Mr. Harris proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Cuban Conflict and Vietnam. He was a family man and enjoyed spending his time with them. During his wife’s illness, he was a dedicated caregiver to her. He enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors.

Preceding him in death were his parents: Aubrey Jack and Dovie Blanch Harris; siblings: Jack Harris, Bill Harris, Carolyn Hill and Ralph Harris; his wife, Dollie Abernathy Harris.

Survivors include his children: Steven (Debra) Harris and Gary Harris; grandchildren: Kayla (Job) Reed and Ron (Valerie) Harris; siblings: Mary McCamy and Robert Harris and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
