

Visitation for Sam will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel, Attalla, AL. on Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm.
Sam attended Etowah High School where he built lifelong friendships and lasting memories. After graduation, he began his career working at Goodyear and then later decided to take a job at the Gadsden Steel Plant. After some hard work, determination, and a vision of entrepreneurship. Sam would decide to own and operate B&R Maintenance for 38 years. He loved serving his community and customers with dedication and integrity through the years. Sam was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. He loved his family deeply and worked tirelessly to provide for them, and always took great pride and joy in his work. In his free time, Sam would often be spending his time outdoors enjoying the likes of fishing, hunting, farming, and most importantly spending time with his grandkids teaching them about life.
Preceded in death by his father, Samuel Rose; mother, Ruth Rose; brother, Larry Rose; sister-in-law, Shirley Rose; and niece, Cynthia Rose
Sam is survived by his wife, Debbie Rose; children, Kayla (Bryan) Phillips, Tyler (Amy) Rose, Eva Rose, and Stephanie (John) Mayo; grandchildren, Noah, Anna, Samantha, Kou, Cooper, Ridge, Braxton, Nash, and Kensley; a host of great-grandchildren; and nephews, Larry Don Rose and David Rose.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the Grooms Family, the Leslie Family, the Talley Family, the Griffith Family, and Dwayne Pullen; the Attalla Fire Department, Enhabit Hospice; Rachel, Beth, and Brandon; Doctor Bittner and the staff of the Kirkland Cardio Clinic; and Doctor Reiland and staff.
