

Shelbie was an avid gardener and seamstress. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren tremendously. She was born and raised in Gadsden, Alabama and was a devoted Christian and was a huge animal lover.
She was preceded in death by her husband Allen Pinkerton; son James Pinkerton; parents Lonnie and Mae Barber; brother Embres barber; sister Lillie Mae Pruett; great grandson Isaiah Stevens.
She is survived by her daughters Sherry Whaley, Pam Pinkerton, and Melissa Phillips; grandchildren Chris and Kelvy Kuykendall, Holly Brock, kristie Pratt, Candi and Mac Stevens, Amanda Turner, Justin and Wesley Gilchrist, Kaylee and Cadence Phillips, Alexis Taylor, Blake Wise; great grandchildren Nathan and Carmen KuyKendall, Kylie Wise, Braylee Sawyers, Byrson Brock, Makayla Works, Jerry Works Jr, Zayden Nelson, Ellie and Isabella Gilchrist, Montana and Jessica Gilchrist, Casey Gilchrist, Jayden Gilchrist, Trey and Mirakle Stevens, Brylan Gilchrist, Alayah Gilchrist, Elijah Granfield; great- great granddaughter Tavryn KuyKendall; and special friends Alix Brothers, Amanda Chastain, and Joyce Ray
Memorial service will be at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Saturday, February 26th, 2022 from 3-5p.m with service starting at 5p.m.
