Terry LaWayne Mulkey

Funeral Services for Terry LaWayne Mulkey, age 58 of Steele who passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Danny Battles officiating. Burial will follow at Deermans Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Terry attended Chandler Mountain Baptist Church. He loved playing his guitar and taking care of the dogs and horses.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Sherry Garrison and father and mother-in-law, Bob and Ellen Trewhitt.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Shirley; son, Calvin; parents: John and Ruth; brother, Philip (Deb); special family, Brian, Rachel and Piper Wilson and Jane Isbell.

Pallbearers are Brian Wilson, Austin Nash, Hobart McClendon, Billy Grier, James Grier and Calvin Mulkey.

Honorary pallbearers are Scott Pruitt, Jimmy Robinson, Johnny Beasley and Joey Lay.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Terry’s favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
