Timothy Lamar Bowen

Tim was born and raised in and around Attalla, AL. He was a 1973 graduate of Etowah High School. He and his wife Diane married on December 31st, 1975, after his graduation from Etowah. He was a “Die Hard” Alabama fan. He loved fishing, being outside, and watching college and Etowah football. He loved the old country; George Jones, Hank Williams Jr., and Vince Gill. Tim and Diane's song was “Remember when” by Alan Jackson. He loved all his family and friends. He was loved by many. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

Timothy was preceded in death by his father, TB Bowen; mother, Helen Bowen; brothers, Gary, Dennis, Bill, Ronnie, and Jerry Bowen; sister, Susie Holderfield.

Timothy is survived by his wife, Diane Bowen; sons, Adam Bowen, Chris Bowen, Timothy Bowen Jr.; grandchildren, Braxton Bowen, Jeremy Adam Bowen Jr., Alex Bown, Desi Pruett, Anthony Soseree, Adam, Alissa, Jessa Bowen, and TJ Bowen; great-grandchildren, Travis, Jeremy Bowen III; brother, Jackie Bowen; special nephew, Mike Holderfield and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Diane Bowen.
