Timothy Wayne Davis

Timothy (Tim) Wayne Davis, after suffering a massive bilateral stroke on February 3rd, passed away peacefully around 1:30 a.m. on February 21, 2022 with his loving mother by his side. Tim was a devoted son, a beloved brother, caring uncle and treasured nephew who was taken home to be with the Lord much too soon, at the age of 56. Family and friends will remember Tim for his love of Auburn University athletics, his soft spot for his cats and his devotion to his mom, which has helped her to enjoy a fulfilled life.

He was preceded in death by his loving grandmother Topsy Berry Kleinklaus, who was instrumental in his early years for instilling a moral fiber that he would need to live his life, his great uncle J.W. Berry who seemed to always bring a smile to a room and his grandmother Thelma Davis who was there to lend an ear when needed.

He is survived by his mother Terry Davis, brother Brent (Cheryl) Davis, uncle Joey (Dana) Kleinklaus, nieces Zoe Davis and Emma Davis, nephew Bryce Davis and other close relatives and friends.

A graveside service for family and close friends will be held on Thursday February 24th at Rainbow Memorial Gardens in Gadsden Alabama where Tim will be laid to rest beside his beloved grandmother Topsy. As a close friend of his brother Brent recently said after hearing of his passing, “He is at peace now……..and he will be having Topsy tea tonight”, something Tim loved and his grandmother was known for by all who knew and loved her. Tim is certainly with her now and we know that both are enjoying a long awaited embrace once again.
