Vicki Ardell Edmondson

Vicki was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 16, 1953, to Carlton “Oss” Edmondson and Mollie Ruth Edmondson. She was a mother and grandmother, who loved her dog Belle, watching Gunsmoke, Jesse Duplantis, Alabama Football, and the Million Dollar Band. Vicki’s three grandsons were the light of her life. She was employed at Lonestar Steel from 1981 – 1996 and spent many years in Ore City, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlton “Oss” Edmondson and Mollie Ruth Willett Edmondson; and her sister, Becky Klima.

Vicki is survived by her son, Cody (Allison) Edmondson; grandsons, Alex, Brandon and John David Edmondson, Summerville, GA; sister, Lisa Wages, of Longview, TX; brothers, Vince (Debbie) Edmondson, White Oak, TX; Steve (Terry) Edmondson, Pinetree, TX; and Kevin Edmondson, Gadsden, AL; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her lifelong best friend, Sherron Laminack, Big Sandy, TX.

Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Klima, Randy Klima, Lucas Carrington, Timmy Edmondson, Trenton Hamilton, and Kevin McLeod.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Coates Bend Volunteer Fire Department in honor of Vicki.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Allen Lipscomb, Hannah Jenkins (ER Nurse) and Sharlene (MICU Nurse).
