Vicki Owens

Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 27 at 6 pm at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Rev. Harvey Beck officiating.

Vicki is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Owens; parents, Harry Sr. and Jewel Garrard Yocum; brothers, Harry Jr., Bill and Craig Yocum; Step-son, Scott Owens; and sister, Helen Perkins Wiggs.

“Mama Nan” will be lovingly remembered by, Sons, Eddie Jr. (Sandy) Perman and Todd Perman; Step-daughters, Amy (Brad) Holmgren and Kim Bailey; Grandchildren, Trey (Megan) Perman, Tanner (Holly) Perman, Seth (Julia) Perman, Trent Perman, Savannah Perman and Madison Bailey; Great-grandchildren, Vera, Ruby, and Watson Perman; sister-in-law, Virginia Yocum and several nephews. She will be greatly missed by her fur baby, Ginger.

Vicki was born October 30, 1940. She graduated from Etowah High School. Vicki loved being outdoors. As a child and as a mother, she spent many vacations at the beach. Vicki and Leon spent many summers on the lake boating and fishing. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time in her beautiful garden. Vicki also enjoyed watching sports especially NASCAR and Auburn football. Most of all, Vicki loved cooking for and spending time with her growing family.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Riverview’s ICU and CCU for their care and kindness.

Visitation will be from 4 pm until time of service.
