Virginia Ernestine Nichols

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eakes; beloved husband, Clyde Nichols; and her oldest son, William Nichols.

She is survived by her daughter, Inda; sons, Steve, Jeff (Brenda), Daniel (Juanita) ,Tray (Tracy Ann),Teddy, Joe (Zening), and Samuel (Jessica) Nichols; 21 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Morgan Funeral Chapel on Sunday, February 9, 2025. The family will receive visitors in Parlor C from 1:00 pm until the time of the Chapel service at 2:00 pm. Rev. Kenneth Wilkins to officiate the service.

Ms. Nichols was a woman of God, a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She most definitely made a difference in the world. Her faith in The Lord was a steadfast anchor during life’s storms, providing her with strength, hope, and unwavering belief that brighter days were always ahead.

The family wishes to give heartfelt thanks to Amedisys Hospice Care, nurses Megan and Tyler; and Gadsden Health Care and staff during this time with our mother.
