Willie Elbert Bellew

June 17, 1941-October 13, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Willie “Elbert” Bellew. A visitation will be held Wednesday October 15th, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Attalla, AL with a funeral service following at 12:00 PM.

Elbert was preceded in death by his mother and father, Rhoda Mae and Redford Bellew; brothers Bobby Joe, Jerry Ross, and Benny Bellew; sisters Linda Sue Tucker and Charlotte Morrison; 1 grandson, Eric Kaczmerek.

Elbert is survived by his wife, Blenda Gayle; 2 sons, Elbert Otheral and Eddie Wayne Bellew; 2 daughters, Connie Lashelle Lemons and Tiwana Gayle Fink; 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren. Elbert is also survived by 2 sisters, Betty Mae Clay and Donna Hindman plus many nieces and nephews.

Elbert was well-known and liked in his community. His mechanic and welding skills that he passed on to his sons kept him busy for many years.

In November of this year, Elbert and his beloved wife, “Gayle” would have celebrated 64 years of marriage. He was well loved by his children and grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew him.
