Zack Holland

Funeral Services for Mr. Zack Holland, age 28 of Southside, will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. at Morgan Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bruce Word officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.

Zack passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 in Gadsden. Zack was an AMAZING dad and husband. He loved his family and his son was his world. Zack was a firefighter for many years at Ivalee Fire Department then most recently with Southside Fire Department, and worked for H&H Trucking as an assistant manager for several years. He was known by everyone in the community and never met a stranger. Zack was so loved by many people and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Kirsten Holland, his son, Lane Holland, his parents, Jeff and Rachel Holland, his sister, Katie Holland, his brother, Andrew Holland, his brother, Luke Holland, his grandmother, Patsy Johnson, his niece, Phoenix Holland, a host of many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his chosen brother, Cody Holland, his grandfather, Ronnie Johnson and his grandmother, Margaret Ann Forrester.

Pallbearers will be: Andrew Holland, Luke Holland, Roger Putman, Kenneth Chester, Adam Colvin, and Jerry Elrod.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Southside Fire Department, Southside Police, and Ivalee Fire Department

In lieu of flowers the family asks that flowers or donations be sent to the Southside Fire Department, for Christmas for the kids.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Morgan Funeral Chapel from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and until service time at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday.
