Arlyn C. Williams (92) of Attica died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at the Willows at Willard. He was born November 14, 1925 in Attica to the late William C. and Helen I. (Senn) Williams. Arlyn was a veteran of the US Navy where he served as a cook. He was known as the milk and egg man when he pick up milk and delivered to the Blue Valley Creamery. Arlyn also worked at the bus garage and drove bus for the Attica and Seneca East Public School. He was a member of the Attica Historical Society, the Silver King of yesteryear club where he was coeditor of their newsletter and former member of the Attica Lions Club and Current member of the Plymouth Lions Club and between the 2 had served as president a couple of times and a member for over 50 years. Arlyn loved trains, antique cars and Norman Rockwell painting. At the age of 14 he rode his bike to Lake Pymatuning in Pennsylvania and spent a couple day which was just one of many stories he loved to tell and also had a very unique sense of humor.
Arlyn is survived by his wife: Shirley A. (Vanderveen) Williams who he married November 27, 1969, son: Dean Williams of Parma Heights, daughter: Karla (Julie Peterson) Williams of Norwalk and adopted daughter: DeLora Todd of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his adopted son: Dale Williams.
Friends may call Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 3-7 P.M. at Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Services, 295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica. Funeral services will begin at 11:00A.M. on Monday, October 22, 2018 with Pastor Edward Hunker officiating. Burial will be at the Omar Chapel Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Silver King of yesteryear club or Plymouth Lions Club through the funeral home.
