OBITUARY

Clinton J Beamer

Clinton J. Beamer (90) of Attica, died at 9:37 A.M. Friday, July 15, 2011 at the Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky. He was born February 25, 1921 in Attica to the late Perry and Clara (Vogt) Beamer. Mr. Beamer was a veteran of the U.S. Army and servied during WWII. He was self-employed as a service garage owner. Mr. Beamer attended the Ebenezer United Methodist Church of Flat Rock. He was a member of the Bellevue VFW and a clerk of Reed Township for 16 years. Mr. Beamer is survived by his wife: Mary L. ( Ziegler) Beamer whom he married January 25, 1947. He is also survived by 2 daughters: Bonnie (Raymond) Rohe of St. Charles, MO and Barbara (Andrew) Frisch of Attica. 4 grandchildren: Stacy (Gary) Blatz of Rockford, IL; Summer Rohe of Ocean Spring, MS; Dana (Shannon) Dixie of Apollo Beach, FL; and Ryan (Jessica) Frisch of Attica. 1 great grandson: Devin Dixie; 1 brother: Clifton Beamer of Bellevue and special friends: Kevin and Deb Twomey of MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters: Glada Swartzlander and Elizabeth Gallem and brother: Wade Beamer Sr. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Monday, July 18, 2011 at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church of Flat Rock with the Rev. Bruce Kent of the church officiating. Burial will be in the Attica-Venice Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 1295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica.
