

Donald R. Loy (88) of Attica passed November 15, 2016 at Fostoria Community Hospital. He was born March 11, 1928 in Chatfield to the late William and Floyd (Walcut) Loy. Mr. Loy was employed at Timken in Bucyrus and raised racing horses. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict in the US Army and was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, he enjoyed trap shooting, the church dartball team, spending time on the farm and had a true passion for racing horses.
Mr. Loy is survived by his daughter: Jana Burkett of Tiffin, 2 sons: Tye Loy of Columbia Station and Terry Loy of CA, 5 grandchildren: Chandra and Kira Burkett, Christopher Smith, J.J. Pojaman and Sam Loy and 1 brother: Wilmer Loy of New Washington. He was preceded in death by his wife: Esther (Foos) Loy and a brother: Calvin Loy.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM. Friday, November 18, 2016 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Attica with Pastor Tom Pairan officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 5-7 P.M. at Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica and Friday from 12:00 noon til the time of the service at 1:00PM at the church. Burial will be in the Attica-Venice Twp Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church through the funeral home.
