

Dorothy E. Haycook (83) went to be with her Lord May 30, 2016 from Willows at Willard. She was born December 29, 1932 in Willard to the late Lewis and Altha (Rhodes) Kellerhals Marcrum. Mrs. Haycook was a homemaker and babysitter. She was a member of Attica United Methodist Church, enjoyed playing bingo, doing puzzles, playing cards and spending time with the grandchildren. She loved to sing and if she didn’t know the words to the song…she just made them up and was always quick to give directions to a location but never drove and didn’t always get where they were trying to go. Mrs. Haycook loved watching old movies and was a huge John Wayne fan.
Mrs. Haycook was survived by 3 daughters: Barbara Hardin of Attica, Shirley (Bob) Bisignano of Attica, and Peggy Tucker of Bucyrus, son: Michael Haycook of Columbus, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and sister: Donna (Bob) Pennington of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband: William “Bill” Haycook who preceded her in death in 1986, twin sister: Doris Watts, sister: Bessie Mitchell and brother: Dale Kellerhals.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica with the Pastor Michael Padula officiating. Burial will be at Liberty Chapel Cemetery, Crawford County. Friends may call 5-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
