Big John as I first was introduced to him upon marrying into Venice Twp. He always stopped over and watched our three sons growing up of course with always a chuckle as to what they were into. He will be missed at the Weaver Maple Sugar Camp in Feb/March times as it was his neighborhood hang out with us. He encouraged me to run for school board as he was all about serving so I did and the rest is history in goal achievements. I will miss discussing Baxter Black stories from US Farm Report with him. We must have been the only 2 up at 5 am on Saturdays. To his family and Anita who took such great care of him in his way of course...our sympathy. We will miss him in Venice Township. Barb Weaver, Attica OH and resident of Venice Twp.

John was an asset to the Venice Township community. His work as fiscal officer was one of highest commitment. He protected the taxpayers funds and stood tall in his elected position among his other elected trustees in making sure funds were always used according to guidelines. If he didn't know or understand the guideline, he researched it for the right answer. Some times he even knew more than the state auditors. He had a great love for internet access as it was a new place to learn information and John was all about thinking outside the box and seeking out new things and getting ALL the information he could endulge for good decisionmaking and some times just to do something different. John will always be in our hearts. Tom Weaver, former Venice Twp Trustee.

John helped me when I became a new State Sec/Treas of WA. He had lots of common sense and worked hard as sec/tres of Ohio. When I needed recruitment ideas or questions on full time employees John always had the answers. I will miss him!

When I met John Aichholz for the first time, I noticed he was a very quiet man. Once you get to know him he was so sweet, he made me laugh a couple of times. My sympathies and hugs go to John's family and our RLCA family.
