Rocky E. Martin

Rocky Martin (65) of Attica died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from an accident. He was born April 30, 1951 in Willard to the late Dan Martin and Doris (Paul) Behm. Rocky was a graduate Attica High School, class of 1969 and was a mason by trade. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing and really anything outside. Rocky was a collector of many things including bottles, arrowheads and old wood planes.

Rocky was married July 5, 1986 to Peggy (Kochel) Martin who survives. He is also survived by 2 daughters: Leslie Martin of Willard and Amy Martin of Attica, son: Joe (Beth) Martin of Swanton, Ohio, 4 grandchildren: Courtney Martin, Chelsea Martin and Cameran Martin, all of Willard and Daniel Martin of Swanton, 3 great grandchildren, and 4 sisters: Patricia Kean of Attica, Shirley Jaynes of Attica, Susan Robbins of Republic and Lydia Martin of Attica. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A friend and family gathering will be held Monday, February 27, 2017 from 4-6:30 PM at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica with a celebration of Life Service at 6:30 P.M.. Memorial may be made to the AVR fire department through the funeral home.
