Sandra "Sandy" Snyder

Sandra S. “Sandy” Snyder (74) of Attica, died Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the Willows at Willard. She was born September 12, 1940 in Willard to the late Carl and Johnna “Dolly” (Stickney) Smith. She was married December 14, 1958 to Harold L. Snyder who preceded her in death in 1993. Mrs. Snyder was a sewer at C.E. White Company in New Washington and a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She was in a canasta card club for many years and enjoyed crocheting, wall papering, watching TV and listening to her books on tape. Mrs. Snyder cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Snyder is survived by son: William A. (Patricia) Snyder of Findlay, 2 daughters: Sharon E. (Eric) Heyman of Monroeville, and Susan L. Snyder of Attica, 4 grandchildren: Jennifer (Ben) Williams, Nathan (April) Snyder, Steven Heyman and Elizabeth Heyman, and 3 great grandchildren: Addison and Brianna Williams and Zane Snyder and one brother: Roger F. (Shirley) Smith of Lexington. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one grandson: Justin Heyman.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Attica with Pastor Edward Hunker officiating. Friends may call Monday from 4-8 P.M. at Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica and from 10:00-11:00AM on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in the Attica-Venice Twp Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Seneca East Public Library, or Stein Hospice through the funeral home.
