Adeline Marie Tucher, 92, passed peacefully on April 8, 2018 with family by her side. She was born in Santa Cruz, CA to Manuel and Josephine (Silva) Cabral. She was a resident of Auburn for the past 69 years.
Addie married Albert Tucher (deceased) in 1949 and together they raised their family in Auburn, CA. She lived a life of service to others through her faith and commitment to the Auburn community and fellow members of St. Joseph and St. Teresa of Avila Church, Catholic Ladies Relief Society, Native Daughters of the Golden West, and TOPS.
She is survived by her children, Ernest Tucher and Donna (Ernest) Parada; her sister Rosaline Oliveira; her sister-in-law Margaret Tucher; her grandsons, Chris Parada and Kevin (Michelle) Parada; five great-grandchildren, Daphne, Zac, and Gage Parada, Ty Engel, and Shelby Dusio as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank the Skilled Nursing Staff at Auburn Ravine Terrace for their compassionate care and untiring efforts. We’d like to name you all individually but are afraid we might leave someone out. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for caring for Addie like she was your own family.
In lieu of flowers Addie suggests a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the charity of your choice.
Visitation and rosary will be held at Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn, 6:00 to 8:00pm Sunday, April 15.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 11600 Atwood Road, Auburn at1:00pm Monday, April 16 with interment following at the New Auburn District Cemetery.
