My dear girl, I love you always and I miss you so very much.

Thinking of you always but especially today.  I still have your picture on my mirror. I tried taking it down once but it was too hard for me. It might come down one day but your memory will never leave my heart.

Andrea, you had a bright smile. I remember you sitting in the front row of my World History class in your brown leather boats taking furious notes. You had a zest for knowledge and I will always appreciate your desire for happiness. It truly brightened my day to see you before class and I hope you are at peace even though I am with great sadness. You will forever be in my thoughts.

Most of my memories of you will always stem from great camping trips at Glamis and fun outings on the lakes along the Colorado River.   I am so sad and heartbroken for you, your family and those closest to you.   You always made us laugh and those times will always be the finest of my memories.   Rest well my friend.   Your spirit will always be live and well in our hearts.   

Working at the museums with Andrea was always a pleasure as she had a beautiful spirit about her which shinned on everyone she came in contact with.

Andrea,
 I remember meeting you in the tower and having no idea what your name was. I called you by the wrong name and that started a conversation that lasted the entire shift. I remember thinking, "Yeeeaah, she's my kind of people."  You and I talked about the weirdest things every time we saw each other even if it was just for a minute. I always miss those conversations and the stupid dances we would do to entertain each other at work. They were and always will be some of the best times I've had at the museums. I will truly miss you my friend  The world will be a lot less goofy without you.

Andrea, every time I saw that I was scheduled with you, I would be so happy because I knew it was going to be a good day. We would talk so much that the day will go by so fast. I keep thinking you will show up at the desk and we will joke around. Everyone misses you so much

I am so glad I got to meet you at the museum.  You brightened up my day whenever we worked together.  I loved your sense of humor.  You are the sweetest, kind, and wonderful human being and I will miss you......Rest in peace dear lovely Andrea.

Andrea, I will always  remember such fond memories at the de Young with you. You always made me laugh! Whenever I had a bad day, our long conversations always cheered me up and you made me feel so much better. I am so thankful to have met you. I remember when I returned to the de Young for the holiday party, you were one of the first to give me a warm hug. Your gorgeous smile and bright, beautiful soul. Love you!

Andrea, don’t know how to begin or end this because it all still seems like a dream. My heart will never be the same. I could never imagine you not being in my life anymore. All I have left is memories. Beautiful memories I will forever cherish, I’m so glad you were able to be a part of my life. Never a dull moment with you and full of laughter and happiness, you were always so happy to be with us no matter what it was that we were doing. Andrea still can’t believe that your gone. I wish all of this was just a bad dream & I feel like us all cousins were getting together to celebrate a graduation or marriage for you. Nothing will ever be the same without you. Every time I would sleep over, you always made feel like I was right at home & made me feel like your little sister, teaching me how to play Sims & eating cookie dough together. You’ve always been so goofy & happy. You have the biggest heart ever & no one will ever forget that. I thank God for putting you in my life I just wish he never took you away from all of us. Beautiful, Beautiful, Andrea— ❤️ Still trying to process the fact that you are no longer here, and like so many,  I’m not sure that I ever will. The privilege of knowing you was through, Adriana, the love she bestowed upon you, and made it known to anyone that would listen that you were her baby girl brings a smile to my face! She loved you so much,  was so proud of you, and loved keeping us up to date on how you were doing. The memory of you I will never, ever forget, you were always the sweetest little girl, with the bright smile and comforting brown eyes and the cutest little laugh! ❤️ When you would come down for a visit, Adriana would spoil you and bring you over to see me at the salon and get your hair done...you would always ask for Disney Princess curls, and just on your last trip down here,  I found myself giving you hair advice through Adriana.

Dear Andrea, 
We share no family ties, but our hearts were tied through Adriana. We saw you grow up from a sweet baby girl in her Osh Kosh overalls to an amazing young woman.  We may have not kept in touch, but know that we always heard about you (mostly good things ;) ) and what you were up to.  Although the Lord has called you up, we know that we will continue to hear about you. The silly, the annoying, the not-so-smart (we all have those), and the wonderful things you did.  Feel free to eavesdrop and give us a little sign that you're listening. You are loved and will be missed.

When we were kids everyone wanted to hang out with you.  It was a little annoying because sometimes I wouldn't get to since you had other plans with other cousins.  It seemed like we were all fighting for time with you.  I did get my time with you, even though I wanted more time.  We all wanted more time with you.  I never understood why it was always like that.  Why we could never get enough of you.  If it's true that God has a plan, than it makes sense why we felt that way.  God knew to have us spend as much time with you as we could, while we could.  

When you moved away it was hard for all of us, but we knew that when we saw each other again it would be a spectacle of love and laughter.  And it always was.  It was easy to love you because you accepted us the way we were and that's all any of us could ask for.  

You were different. You were special. You were all of the above. Now you will forever be in our hearts the same way you accepted us into yours.  I love you Andrea and I'll miss you so much..

There were countless days of mine that you completely lit up with your energy.  We began talking when I was scanning at an exhibit, close to the audio tour cart, and we completely clicked. Your energy reminded me of myself, as well as your completely random and constant dance moves!!! You made the most boring days so hilarious and entertaining. 

We were at a staff party at the de Young, and I remember sitting there and telling you we HAD to go out sometime, because you are so much fun. You and I danced like crazy at the holiday party months later - I specifically remember looking over at you at one point during dancing,  saying 'THIS SONG IS SOOOOO LONG!' and you looked at me, nodded, and laughed. 

I was just telling my friends a story about you a week and a half ago, thinking fondly of the memories you have blessed me with. About the last time I saw you... we had already said our goodbyes the day before and exchanged numbers. Yet the following day I was walking down the staircase and there you were! In sweats with your hair up, coming to pick up your last paycheck or something. I was happy to see you once more, then gave you another giant hug before wishing you well. 

So thankful to your family for raising such a beautiful human being, and to you for sharing your light and laughter with me. Your loss is felt so deeply within the museum... it just goes to show how much of an impact you had on all of the people here.

My beautiful cousin Andrea, you had the most beautiful illuminating smile, and beautiful brown tender eyes but your genuinely sweet soul was what made you so special to everyone who knew you! To know you was to love you! I will never forget the dollar dance we shared at my wedding just recently. I held you tight and told you how much I had missed you and that I loved you! I will never forget your beautiful face and your silliness. Memories with you are imprinted in my heart forever. I will miss you dearly. 

Young or old, losing a beautiful soul such as Andrea,  pains and stings unlike anything else.  Please accept my condolences and sending much love and prayers to her family and friends. 



You were introduced to us friends as Adriana’s baby... her own baby girl. She would play with your hair and like to dress you up. As you got older she still loved you like a baby doll she treasured but you grew into a beautiful young lady. Always with a smile on your face and laughing at “nana” your presence would light up a room. We were honored to have met and know you. You will be missed sweet girl💕

Sweet, sweet Andrea.  God has called his most beautiful Angel home.   We will all miss you so much.  I loved your smile and your laugh so much! I am grateful for the times we had and I’m so thankful that I got to hug you, kiss you, and dance with you at Alejandra’s wedding just one month ago.   I will never forget our precious time at Disneyland, we had so much fun! And Mia will never forget that you gave her one of your most precious pins! Andrea was a gift from GOD.  We were lucky to have her for as long as we did.  I feel so grateful that God sent her to me and devastated he took her so soon.  I will always be grateful and cherish the amazing time we had with her.  My baby girl is FREE now.
Andrea I love you, I will always love you.  I will never forget you or stop speaking about you. I'm so thankful for the time we got to spend together, for the late night txt you send even if they were about constipation, mine not hers hehe, and for the time you spent with Hannah.  Right  now I'm sad I don't have you but if you're happy I'm happy!
