Mom, I can't believe a year has passed by already. There aren't enough words to express how much I miss you. I think about you everyday, wishing you were here so we can talk. You're birthday is coming up and I still think about what I would like to get you, what you would like to have or could use. I am so grateful to have had you as my mother and friend. I so enjoyed our shopping trips and just sitting in the living room having girl talk. The holidays are especially hard without you but some how we get through them. You are in a beautiful place now where there is no pain or weakness from the cancer. You were so strong all those years fighting like a soldier to get through it all. I hope that I can be as strong as you if the time ever comes. Mom know that I love you so much and thank you for being such a wonderful Mother, the best Mom anyone could ask for and have. Thank you for the wonderful memories and for always being there when I needed you. Thank you for all you have done for me throughout my life and most of all your full support no matter what choices I made. Know that I think about you always and will never forget what we had together and the fun times.
I love you and miss you,
your daughter Debbie.

Barbara was a wonderful person, beautiful inside and out.
Loved by so many.
Hope to see you again Barbara in the Lord's presence.

I'm sorry I did not have the honor of meeting you Barbara but I am grateful for the wonderful daughter you raised and am priviledged to call her my good friend. Please look for my mom Joan up there in Heaven and I hope you become as good of friends as your daughter and I have become. My love and prayers to the whole family.

Dear Barbara our beautiful neighbor we look at your tree standing there strong and proud under the stars next to Mel's tree. We think of you with a smile knowing you had a wonderful life with a wonderful husband.
Mel our hearts and thoughts are with you. You and Barbara made loving each other look so easy! Barbara will always be remembered with a smile and a warm heart.

Barbara, I'll look skyward this evening knowing that a bright new star is you looking down upon us. I'll remember all of the wonderful memories you've given me and smile. You are already so very much missed but I know we will meet again soon enough.

Debbie and Mel words can never express the feelings when you loose a Mom and a wife. Barbara was an inspiration to all she left behind. She was a fighter and she would want us to continue the battle in what ever life deals us. You mourn her loss but knowing that she is in such a better place hopefully makes the pain easier. You have so many wonderful memories. Let those memories carry you through good times and bad. God bless and keep you during this very sad time.
