

Barbara Lynn Lagud, of Grass Valley, California, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2022 in Auburn, California at the age of 75 among her family, longtime friends and co-workers. Loving mother of Lisa Liddicoat (Alan), Tracy Lagud, Amy Lagud and Bernard Lagud (Robert). Cherished Grandmother to Ryan Bertie (Rachel), Brenden Henderson (Kiara), Alexandria Dollar (Zachary), Bailey Bouzaglou, Kurt Dollar, Zachary Henderson and Cameron Cringean.
She was precluded in death by her husband, Bernard Ralph Lagud, her parents, Feya and Isadore Schultz and brother, Charles "Mickey" Schultz. She is survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.
Barbara was a native of Kansas City, Missouri. She moved to California when she was 15 years old where she attended Orange Coast College. She had a rewarding career in nursing for decades and retired after 35 years as the Nursing Staff Coordinator at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital.
Barbara was an active retiree where she served as Secretary for the Nevada County Grand Jury and enjoyed volunteering at the Nevada County Animal Shelter, Kitty Kove in Grass Valley.
There will be a viewing for Barbara on Tuesday, January 10th from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM. A memorial service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held Wednesday, January 11th at 10:00 AM, Chapel Of The Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn CA, 95603 with a reception to follow.
A private interment at the historic Georgetown Pioneer Cemetery for family and close friends will be January 12th at 11:00 AM.
