Betty Jane Palmer

Betty was born on July 18, 1933 in Eufaula, Oklahoma of Cherokee decent. She moved to Bakersfield, California in the early 40’s, where she met, then married the love of her life, James R. Palmer aka Bob on July 30, 1949. They settled in Auburn in 1968.

Betty is survived by her three children; daughter Claudia Cheeseman (Don), sons James R. Palmer Jr. and Kenneth Palmer (Brenda), all of Auburn; sister Pauline Carr William) of Bakersfield; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Bob of 62 years and three siblings; brothers Tom and Buddy Plotner, sister Nellie Phillips and one grandchild, Korban.

A Memorial Service will be held at Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 10:00am. Flowers and condolences may be sent to Chapel of the Hills in Auburn, any donations please contact Sutter Auburn Faith Hospice.
