Ms. T. was loved by many, many of us.  May she eternally rest in peace.

This world was a better place with Betty in it. She was the kindest, gentlest person I knew. I loved her dearly! She always engulfed me in a hug that made me feel special and loved. She will be missed but never forgotten.

"Mrs. T" epitomized the wonderful, close-knit spirit of Newcastle Elementary School.  During the 14 years we were closely associated with the school, Mrs. T was always there - smiling, laughing, helping, caring.  There was not a child at the school who did not know and love her.  What a great example she was to the kids, parents and faculty.  Linda, in your sadness and healing, make room for cherishing the many touching memories of a mother  dearly loved and appreciated by so many.

Mrs T was one of the most influential and positive role models to us kids at Newcastle Elementary.  She was so loving and faithful with us.  We will always have fond memories of her.

My son, Kace, and I will always remember Ms. T. from their Washington, D. C. trip.  I was a chaperone along with Ms. T. and others.  That trip was great and memorable!  My daughter, Taija, remembers Ms. T. for playground duty. Always smiled. Most locals will always remember our extended Newcastle Family.

Betty was such a wonderful person. Always a smile and kind word on her lips. I have many happy memories of the whole family. My prayers are with those who now mourn the loss of Sister, Momma, Grandma and Friend.
