

“Culla”
Wonderful mother, daughter, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, aunt and friend. So much to share about this awesome lady.
First and foremost the love she felt for her family.
She was so comfortable to be with.
Never did we hear her complain about the pain she dealt with from her arthritis.
She loved her crossword puzzles and card games.
Her faith was strong; you could hear it when she would sing. 
We miss her so much and it is a comfort to know we will join her in our heavenly home.
We love and miss you.

“Good da Good” as dagamma would say. Passing on our love of good food to her first great grandson Miles.

Carroll (and Monte) befriended my mother the day she moved into assisted living in Gilroy. They introduced her to new friends, activities, games,  ate most of their meals together and always reminded her to, 'Finish her meal so she wouldn't be so darn skinny!' We figured they had lived at Merrill Gardens for years, but the truth was that that had moved in just a week before she did. Their friendliness made new acquaintances into old friends in no time at all! 
Carroll became an extra special person in my life when my mom passed away.  I admired how she handled the life challenges sent her way with such a calm, practical and optimistic attitude.  She was always able to find the bright side of a situation. My mom and I were blessed the day Carroll became a part of our lives.

October 11, 2014. Such a special day for dagamma. Blessed to have her Brother Harley and wife Sandy from North Dakota celebrate with us. 

Mom sang to the grandchildren when they were little. Their love of music was influenced by her beautiful voice. She loved to harmonize. She loved to travel to see Allison and Mallory sing in the choir.

Carroll was a very giving person.  I remember she would always send my brother John and I Christmas presents and birthday gifts.  Favorite Xmas present was brand new shiny high-top Converse basketball shoes for both of us all the way from California.  And as we got older savings bonds which I still have today.   Will always be remembered!
