Diane Marie Galieote “Dee” passed away peacefully at home with her husband, Tom, and her daughter, Mindy, by her side. She was born on December 18, 1946 in Hollywood, California, to parents Daniel and Doris Thome. She attended and graduated from San Rafael High School. Dee became a successful insurance agent for many years and then found her true passion in selling real estate. Her favorite place to sell real estate was in San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico, with Tom and her mom Dorie by her side.
Dee has always had a giving heart and enjoyed helping people She had so many people that called her “Mom” because she always took the time to listen to their hearts and provide love and caring. Dee loved like no other, forgave fearlessly, enjoyed line dancing, decorating her house, taking pictures with and of her family, loving her dogs, the Christmas season and Christmas music, and spending time with family and friends. Dee especially enjoyed having her husband Tom by her side wherever she was. The past few years were not easy for her and she was unable to do what fueled her soul, but her love for all of us never changed. “I love you more and never goodbye” is what she said every day of her life.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents Daniel Thome I and Doris Thome, and her brother Daniel Thome II. She is survived by her husband Tom, daughter Tonya (Steve) Bramlage, daughter Mindy (David) Mohlenbrok, Angie Galieote, Deanna Galieote, ex-husband Glen (Dana) Gray, grandchildren RJ Cardente, Sarah (Axel) Marshall, Nicole (Zehv) Laurence, Bethany (joe) Pennington, Luke Mohlenbrok, Kendall Mohlenbrok, Christopher Farley (Corina), Josh Farley, and many great grandchildren, cousins and nephews, and her dog Angel.
