I met Don while attending Sierra College in the 80's. We became fast friends and used to talk about cattle and horses, (our favorite subjects). Don was a good man with a huge heart. He loved his family and friends and was always there to lend a hand or an ear. I last saw him at his birthday celebration a couple of years ago. It was as if no time had passed, as we were soon talking about cattle and horses as we did so many years ago. I will miss seeing him but I am so very grateful that I had such a great man as Don to call my friend. My prayers and thoughts are with Glenna and the family.

One word to describe Don, reliable. I (we) could always count on Don when Elite Acceptance needed a car to be picked up or dropped off. You never let us down. He always had a smile and I could count on a chuckle or two. It seems like I just ran into Don not too long ago.
My condolences to all of you.

Don was a man of integrity, and always interesting. I used to ride horses with him back in the early 80's through the Sierra College horse program, and it was always just plain nice to have him around. Although I haven't seen him since that time, I've thought about him many times over the years. The world now is missing a really super great cowboy.
