Douglas Wayne Bond, 71, of Auburn, passed away March 8, 2022. Doug was born January 11, 1951 in Paso Robles, California to Adust and Lucille Bond. He was raised in the San Fernando Valley, moving to Burbank in junior high, and graduating from John Burroughs High School. He attended California State University, Northridge, receiving both his Bachelor and Master degrees. He received his Marriage and Family Therapy license and worked in the mental health field until his retirement.

Doug loved the outdoors and spent many vacations camping and fishing throughout California, the Pacific Northwest and Canada as well as many family trips to the East Coast and Hawaii.

Doug is survived by his wife of 48 years Patti, daughters Sarah Wood and Amanda Bond, and son Jackson Bond and daughter-in-law Marlaina Bond. He is also survived by grandchildren Austin Benjamin, Abigail Benjamin, Isabelle Locke, and Indiana Bond as well as a great grandson Austin Benjamin.

Graveside services will be held Monday, March 21, 1:00 pm at the New Auburn Cemetery, 1040 Collins Drive, Auburn, CA 95603.
